So, this'll be the last of me telling everyone about how my new dog's doing (probably.) Baney our Dachshund-Chihuahua mix (I'm sure this time--he only looks more like a Chihuahua with his tan fur, eyes and ears) is doing much better. Last Thursday he was put under anesthesia and had 14 (out of 42) teeth removed--all of them molars. His canines and incisors are all still there, and he can still eat. He also had a skin tag removed, so now he has several stitches near his belly.

I know that kinda sounds like a lot was done to the poor little guy--and believe me, he wasn't happy for a day or two, since he was whimpering a lot from the pain--but I think this was for the best. Those teeth were rotting--causing really bad breath (which is gone now) and which could have affected his heart. So I'm glad this was done for him. He's back to his old self now, and he's still playful and runs around like before. (It's very cute to watch him grab his small yellow teddy-bear toy, throw it in the air and shake it around.) Right now he's snoozing on my bed--it's really sweet. His stitches are healing up nicely--those'll be removed after a little over a week.

Also, we found out his age recently. He's six years old. He'll probably be around until he's 17 or 18. I'm really glad he's a younger dog so he'll be with us for a long time. ^_^

Finally, concerning my deviations--I'm feeling really guilty that I haven't posted anything since March. -__-;; Especially since the rate of folks favouriting my stuff has gone up in the past month or so. So I won't promise anything, but I'll try to post around 3 deviations. Either wallpapers designed by me, or an old fanfic I finished years ago (a Comedy fic having to do with Yu Yu Hakusho.) Or a little of both? Or a surprise too...?

I dun't know!! But we'll see! Thanks for hanging in there.
